The rug wash process required can differ from rug to rug, so we offer various methods of rug cleaning, from full immersion washing to dry cleaning. All rug fibres can be cared for – wool, cotton, silk, viscose, rayon. We can carry out a pet stain and odour treatment, moth treatment and apply a fibre protection to resist against soiling and staining. We have extensive experience with cleaning antique rugs and rugs with unstable dyes and offer a rug repair service, including fringes, sides and pile reweaving.

Excellent service from start to finish.
I’d had some difficulties finding a reputable and trustworthy company to carry out this service but felt reassured and my rug in safe hands with Oriental Rug Spa.
Dan was timely in his response and took extra time to advise and assure me that my rug would receive the best possible care and treatment. Although expensive as a service for me (probably a one off) my beautiful rug can now be enjoyed for another 20 years!
It was good to know there’s a special price for two and I may eventually have my other rug given the same treatment, but it was mainly a moth problem that meant this rug had to be sorted out. It was pretty bad so Dan and his team did a great job and it feels soft and cushiony now as it’s plumped up a little and also has some moth deterrent treatment on it.

Cleaned two large rugs that had seen years of wear by both humans and dogs. Excellent results on both but especially impressed by the work on the Indian rug, the colours really glowed again. Would strongly recommend.

We had a leaflet through the door advertising Oriental Rug Spa just as were were wondering how and where to get a kitchen rug cleaned, so from our perspective it was pot luck. We were impressed with Dan's knowledge about rugs as a whole and his cleaning advice. The rug has come back looking as it did when new, with vibrant colour as it had originally, and in the time quoted. We will definitely use Oriental Rug Spa again if and when we need to, as we have some hand woven rugs we have bought on holiday (which will need looking after by someone who really knows what they are doing).

This company have cleaned two of my rugs and done a superb job on both. One of which was a Persian rug and both look refreshed and their colours bright. Dan was both helpful and great to deal with - I highly recommend his services.

Delighted with advice, particularly as we found out we had the early signs of a moth infestation. Rug has been cleaned which has cleared unfortunate smell from elderly incontinent cat (sadly now deceased) also looks much more vibrant now clean. Very happy to recommend and will use again for other rugs.

I met with Dan (the owner) at his premises, with a large off white woollen rug which had been very badly soiled with different dogs leaving their 'calling cards' on it. Having inspected it, Dan explained the pros and cons quite succinctly including that it would stand a 'better' chance of being rejuvenated if I left it with him for a little time to possibly be presented to some sunshine to help the process. Mother Nature duly obliged and I now have anearly new rug, excellent service and brilliant results far surpassing my wildest expectations! Thank you Dan

Dan provides an excellent service at sensible rates. My rug was 'cleaned and restored' elsewhere at double the price. That whole experience was awful and the outcome abysmal. This could not gave been more different. Strongly revommended.

Oriental Rug Spa gave us confidence from our first enquiry to the return of our ‘Nain’ rug after cleaning, restored to ‘as new’ condition after many years of benign neglect. Dan clearly knows his stuff and provided a pickup and return service as well. Highly recommended and we will definitely use them again.
